HOW DOES PHA COOLER WORK
Cooling
PHA Cooler crushes water drops into microns (extremely fine mist) together with compressed air. A powerful blower located in the back of the PHA Cooler thrusts out large amounts of air (10,000 Cub per hour), pushing the mist to the front of the device.
The mystified air created by PHA Cooler absorbs the heat in the air, evaporates, and thus reduces the radian temperature by at least 10°C. PHA Cooler covers a radius of more than 15 meters, and coverage is increased by the rotating PHA Cooler head.
Integrating several PHA Cooler units together will provide even more coverage, ensure that the surroundings remain cool and comfortable throughout the event.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
My event will be held in a region with high humidity, will it be effective?
Definitely!
PHA Cooler is effective in all humid environments. The only difference between humidity and temperature is the amount of water that is crushed by the device. When the humidity is high, we decrease the amount of crushed water and thus ensure optimal effectiveness of heat absorption and vaporization.
Will PHA Cooler get us wet while it is operated?
No!
Prior to operating the PHA Cooler in the area, we adjust the amount and pressure of the water intended for crushing by the device in accordance with the temperature and humidity in the intended area. Adjustment varies and is conducted in accordance with customer specifications.
At events such as weddings, parties and professional meetings, for example, we adjust the system in a manner that ensures that the system is effective but the humidity is not a factor.
At “Wet Events”, such as water parties and outdoor events where the customer is looking for an event with a “wet feel”, we adjust the system accordingly.
I am getting married in the evening, is PHA Cooler still necessary?
Certainly!
Our experience shows that even at night, humidity and heat should be taken into account when planning a summer event.
Placing a PHA Cooler near the dance floor always creates a better and cooler atmosphere.
I am producing an event in the middle of the desert. Is it possible to use PHA Cooler there?
No Doubt!
As long as we have an electric source, we can place a PHA Cooler device.
Our experience shows that we can create a pleasant atmosphere in the middle of the desert as well.
I will be placing many large ventilators in my event, why do I need the PHA Cooler?
A ventilator, by nature, does not cool the air; it just pushes the hot air around and does not reduce temperatures.
Using a small number of PHA Cooler devices is by far a better choice as it reduces the radiant heat and temperature.
What is PHA Cooler’s effective coverage area?
The effectiveness of the PHA Cooler is affected by wind and obstructions. In optimal circumstances the effective range is 16 meters and 15 – 20 meters in width (with a working oscillator).
Is a technician necessary during the event?
Once the device is placed and adjusted, it does not require any additional care.
Does PHA Cooler require chilled water or does it chill the water?
The cooling effect is achieved by the crushing of the water into vapor and thus does not leave any room for heat energy. Therefore there is no need for chilled water and as long as you do not fill the system with boiling water that can damage the system, PHA Cooler will operate properly.
I will be placing PHA Cooler in one area at first, and plan move it later. Is this possible?
When the device is full of water, it is too heavy to move.
Because the system can cover large areas, it is recommended to either plan its placement correctly or use more than one device.
What are PHA Cooler’s electric requirements?
The system requires a single-phase electric outlet. It is energy efficient (230V, 1.1 Kw/Hr, 7 Amp at start up) and does not require a permanent water connection, although a permanent water connection can be affixed if desired by the client. The water tank is sufficient for a 10 hour operation.
